Propex Names Brant Chief Operating Officer

Chattanooga, TN, Aug. 26, 2008 – Propex Inc. has named Stan Brant executive vice president and chief operating officer.

CEO  Woody McGee said that in order for Propex to successfully emerge from and thrive after Chapter 11, it needs leaders who understand all aspects of the business.  

Brant was previously responsible for directing all of the company’s geosynthetic, concrete, furnishing and industrial fabrics and fiber manufacturing activities as the company’s executive vice president of operations. Prior to joining Propex, Brant spent 17 years with Duracell.
